8 – 8oz. glasses of water each day for 7 days prior to scan date that’s about 4 – 16.oz water bottles ea. day this is very important to help in obtaining clearer images. There are many factors at play in obtaining clear images of your little one, as listed in the above FAQ. as well as our disclaimer however drinking water is one you can help with! Eat regularly; however, try not to ingest a heavy meal or eat anything gassey prior to the appointment. Sound waves don’t travel air. A small meal and bottle of orange juice 20 minutes prior will suffice, this can help get baby moving prior to scan time. Remember to always follow your doctor’s recommendations.
